NEW YORK, NY - For just the second time since joining the conference back in 1998, the Yeshiva Men's Basketball Team has secured the #1 seed in the Skyline Playoffs.
The Maccabees locked down the honor after posting a perfect 16-0 record in conference play, 17-8 overall, winning the regular season title. This is a feat not accomplished since the 2019-20 season, when YU advanced to the third round of the NCAA Tournament prior to its cancellation due to Covid-19. Yeshiva will look to repeat as conference champions, defending their 2024-25 crown.
With the top spot, the Macs have guaranteed themselves home-court advantage throughout the postseason. The quarterfinals will be held at the Max Stern Athletic Center on Tuesday, Feb. 24th at 8:00 PM, with the Maccabees playing host to the #8 seed.
