Bevo Francis Award
Sponsored by Small College Basketball, the Bevo Francis Award is "presented annually to the player who has had the finest season within Small College Basketball," with "season statistics, individual achievements, awards, personal character, and team achievements" all serving as considering factors.
Samet is joined on the list by players from across the country, representing such basketball powerhouses as #1 Montclair State University, #4 Trinity College (CT), and #5 Emory University. The Monsey Mamba has earned his spot after averaging 23 points throughout a truly special season, one that saw him become the all-time leading scorer in Yeshiva history, and break the single-game scoring record.
The List will be further whittled down as the season progresses, with the Top 25 being announced on March 15th, the finalists on April 4th, and the winner on April 6th.
