NEW YORK, NY - Cementing himself as one the best players in all of Division III Men's Basketball,
Zevi Samet has been named to the All-America First Team by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC).

Samet is one of just 10 players nationwide to achieve the honor, joining fellow student-athletes from: John Carroll University, #8 Illinois Wesleyan University, Virginia Wesleyan University, #14 UW-La Crosse, #12 Tufts University, University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, #11 Endicott College, DeSales University, and #16 Hood College.
Samet has earned the accolade after a season full of both team and individual success. Averaging 23.8 points on .487 shooting, including .408 from beyond the arc, the Monsey Mamba led the Maccabees to their second straight conference title with a perfect 16-0 record in conference play, making it to the Sweet 16 of the DIII NCAA Tournament for just the second time in program history.
