NEW YORK, NY - Zevi Samet has been named to the D3hoops.com All-America Second Team, as announced Tuesday, Mar. 24th.

With this honor, Samet has cemented his spot as one of the 10 best Men's Basketball players in all of Division III, joining peers from such school as: #2 Emory University, John Carroll University, #6 University of Chicago, #8 Illinois Wesleyan University, Calvin University, #14 UW-Lacrosse, #5 Mary Washington University, and #9 Redlands University.
 
Samet has earned the accolade after a season full of both team and individual success. Averaging 23.8 points on .487 shooting, including .408 from beyond the arc, the Monsey Mamba led the Maccabees to their second straight conference title with a perfect 16-0 record in conference play, making it to the Sweet 16 of the DIII NCAA Tournament for just the second time in program history.
