(New York, NY) - Junior David Kahana (Silver Spring, MD/MJBHA) had nine kills and five digs, and fellow junior Zanvy Grauman (Silver Spring, MD/Berman Hebrew) added eight kills, but the Yeshiva University Men's Volleyball team suffered its second consecutive loss, 3-0 to NJCU on Sunday at the Max Stern Athletics Center. With the loss, Yeshiva is now 7-11 overall
NJCU swept the match 30-13, 30-19, and 30-22 as the Maccabees struggled offensively, hitting only -.040 as a team.
Kahana and Grauman were outstanding once again, as was Bajtner who led YU with 17 assists and eight digs. Overall, the Maccabees combined for 28 digs.
Yeshiva returns to action on Sunday, March 15 when the Maccabees will compete in the Skyline Conference Championships for the first time, ever. The location, time, and opponent for their opening match will be announced later this week.
