(New York, NY) - Sophomore Rafi Herskovits (Hamilton, Ontario/Or Chaim) and junior David Kahana (Silver Spring, MD/MJBHA) combined for 11 kills, and senior Joseph Bajtner (Skokie, IL/ICJA) enjoyed a fine all-around match, but the Yeshiva University Men's Volleyball team lost its third straight match, 3-0 to Purchase College on Monday, Feb. 23 at Purchase College. With the loss, Yeshiva is now 6-9.

Purchase swept the match 30-14, 30-19, and 30-27 to defeat YU for the second time this season. The Maccabees combined to hit -.066 as only Bajtner (.143) and Herskovits (.133) had a positive attack percentage. Herskovits had six kills and five digs, while Kahana added five kills and nine digs, and Bajtner chipped in 12 assists and eight digs.

Yeshiva returns to action on Sunday, March 1 when they host St. Joseph's College at 1:00 p.m.
