(New York, NY) - Junior David Kahana (Silver Spring, MD/MJBHA) netted a triple-double with 16 kills, 11 service aces, and 10 digs while hitting .591, and junior Zanvy Grauman (Silver Spring, MD/Berman Hebrew) had seven kills, and five digs, and three solo blocks as the Yeshiva University Men's Volleyball team dominated visiting Albertus Magnus College, 3-0 on Thursday night. With their second straight win, YU is now 4-4.
Yeshiva swept the match 30-4, 30-10, 30-19 and have now doubled their win total from a year ago.
Kahana and Grauman combined for 23 of Yeshiva's 35 kills and 15 of their 25 digs during another terrific effort. Overall, the Maccabees hit a combined .349 and registered 24 service aces and 25 digs as a team.
Also having solid matches for YU were senior Joseph Bajtner (Skokie, IL/ICJA), who recorded 31 assists, and sophomore Rafi Herskovits (Hamilton, Ontario/Or Chaim) added four kills and seven service aces.
The Maccabees return to action on Tuesday, Feb. 10 when they travel to Ramapo College for an 8:00 p.m. NECVA Metro match.
