(Mahwah, NJ) - Junior David Kahana (Silver Spring, MD/MJBHA) recorded seven kills and five digs, and senior Joseph Bajtner (Skokie, IL/ICJA) recorded a team-high 14 assists, but the Yeshiva University Men's Volleyball team was swept by NECVA Metro powerhouse Ramapo College, 3-0 on Tuesday night. With the loss, YU is now 4-5 overall and 1-3 in NECVA Metro play.

Ramapo swept the match 30-8, 30-14, and 30-17 to improve to 10-1 this season.

Yeshiva had a tough night on the attack, hitting -.085, and the Maccabees combined for 19 digs and two blocks. YU also had only one service ace compared to Ramapo's 13.

Also having solid matches for YU were junior Zanvy Grauman (Silver Spring, MD/Berman Hebrew) and sophomore Rafi Herskovits (Hamilton, Ontario/Or Chaim), who had five kills apiece.

Yeshiva returns to action on Thursday, Feb. 12 when the Maccabees host Mount Saint Vincent at 8:00 p.m.
