NEW YORK, NY – The men's volleyball team played their first game in over a week last night against the Ramapo Roadrunners, falling 3-1. Individual game scores were 15-30, 15-30, 34-32, 14-30. The Macs are now 3-4 on the season.
Leading the scoring for Yeshiva was
David Kahana with 15 points. Kahana recorded 15 kills and 15 digs in the match.
Raphael Herskovits had 11 points, killing 9 shots and blocking 2.
Zanvy Grauman had 10.5 points from 6 kills, 2 aces, and 2.5 blocked shots.
Joseph Bajtner had all 31 assists recorded by the Macs. As a team, Yeshiva had 4.5 team blocks and 36 kills.
Wednesday's game against Mount Saint Vincent has been postponed until March 16th due to the heavy snowstorm predicted for the NYC area. The next scheduled game is this Sunday at Medgar Evers. The team will play at 2PM against Washington Adventist and again at 4PM against Medgar.
