NEW YORK, NY – The men's basketball team took the 3 hour trip to Albany to face Sage College, and came home with an 86-81 victory. Yeshiva improved to 5-17 (5-13) while Sage fell to 12-11 (9-9).

Gil Bash scored a career best 35 points, 18 of which came from the free-throw line (18-19). The Maccabees were down 42-38 at the half, as neither team led by more than 6 in the first half of play. Sage did extend their lead to 7 midway through the second half, but Yeshiva rallied behind 19 second half point from Bash and took the lead at the 7:51 mark for good. The Macs pushed their lead to 9 with a minute to go, and held on for the 5 point win.

The Macs will host Brooklyn College on Wednesday in the final non-conference game of the season. The start time has been pushed back to 815PM.
