NEW YORK, NY – The Yeshiva men's volleyball team defeated HVMAC competitor St. Joseph's Brooklyn 3-0 Wednesday night, improving their conference record to an unblemished 4-0. Individual game scores were 25-10, 25-16, 25-21.
The Macs played all 12 guys that dressed, combining for a hitting percentage of .216. Yeshiva blocked 6.5 shots as a team, and allowed only 9 kills from their opponent.
Raphael Herskovits led all players with 13 kills and 11 digs.
Naftali Rosenthal had 8 kills of his own.
Jack Voystock recorded 23 assists.
Up next for Yeshiva will be Cooper Union at home on Tuesday the 22nd at 8PM. Yeshiva won the earlier match with Cooper 3-0.
