NEW YORK, NY – The men's volleyball team traveled to Sage College Sunday morning to take on Purchase College and Sage College in a Skyline Conference quad match that also included Mount Saint Vincent.  The Macs defeated Purchase in the first match 3-1 (25-18, 25-19, 24-26, 25-18) and then lost to Sage 3-0 (12-25, 10-25, 8-25) in the second game.
 
Against Purchase, Raphael Herskovits led the way with 21.5 points on 15 kills, 3 aces and 3.5 blocked shots.  Jack Voystock followed with 16 points on 11 kills, 2 aces, and 3 blocked shots.  Adam Rhodes chipped in with 11.5 points; 7 of which came as service aces.  He also led the team with 29 assists. 
 
In the second game, Herskovits tallied 6 kills to lead the team, followed by Voystock with 3.  Rhodes assisted 10 times for the Macs.
 
Yeshiva opens their home schedule on Thursday when they take on York College at 8PM.
