Rebecca Yoshor (Houston, Texas) joined the 20-20 club with game-highs of 23 points and a career-best 27 rebounds Saturday night, as the Yeshiva University women's basketball team took on Berkeley College in the opening round of Medgar Evers College's Dr. Betty Shabazz Tournament.
The Macs fell by a 77-48 decision, and will play the consolation game against the host Cougars Sunday (Dec. 2) at 2 p.m.
Yoshor was the No. 2 rebounder in all of NCAA Division III last season as a rookie, garnering double-doubles in all but three contests. She has notched double-doubles in four of her five games played thus far in 2012-13, and her previous career-best on the glass was a 25-board display against New Rochelle on Feb. 16, 2012.
