Haley David (New York, N.Y.) scored a game-high 21 points and canned 5-of-8 3-point field goals Sunday afternoon, leading four Yeshiva University women's basketball players with double-digit scoring totals as the Maccabees captured the consolation game of the Dr. Betty Shabazz Tournament with a 79-27 victory over host Medgar Evers College.

Yeshiva (3-4) owned a 73-33 edge on the boards, which helped head coach
Nesta Felix's side hold advantages of 27-4 on second-chance points, and 38-10 in the paint. Seniors,
Sara Rebecca Stromer (Teaneck, N.J.) and
Naomi Gofine (Toronto, Ont.) contributed 12 and 10 rebounds, respectively.
YU is back in action Wednesday night (Dec. 5), when it plays host to Polytechnic Institute of New York University at the Yeshiva High School for Girls in Jamaica Estates, N.Y. Tip-off is scheduled for 8 p.m.
