NEW YORK, N.Y.— The Yeshiva University women's volleyball team opened its 2013 season on Wednesday with a 3-0 (7-25, 5-25, 10-25) loss to Mount Saint Mary College (MSMC).
 
The Maccabees were led by Sarit Zukowsky with four kills (one error) on 12 attack attempts for a .250 attack percentage, while Kerrin Ast had a pair of kills. Shira Genauer and Shaina Hourizadeh led the team with a team co-high of eight digs. Emily Rohan had seven assists in the match.
 
MSMC was led by Katie Lynch with nine kills.
 
Yeshiva returns to action on Sunday for a Skyline Conference tri match against Farmingdale State and the College of Old Westbury.
