CORONA, N.Y.— Yeshiva University women's basketball team grabbed 79 rebounds, attempted 103 shots and scored 103 points as the Maccabees picked up a 103-41 win over Vaughn College in a non conference game Thursday night.
The Maccabees had an abundance of statistical fillers in the contest.
Stephanie Greenberg poured in 38 points and picked up 12 steals, while
Rebecca Yoshor had 19 points and 29 rebounds.
Haley David added 13 points, while
Naomi Gofine had 10 points, six rebounds and six steals.
Rachel Mirsky added 11 points off the bench.
Yeshiva never trailed in the contest, and the Maccabees were up double figures after just over six minutes gone by.
Yeshiva increased its lead through the rest of the first half and had a 65-24 lead at halftime. The Maccabees coasted the rest of the way en route to the final buzzer.
Aiysha Dunlap led the way for Vaughn, scoring 23 points and adding 17 rebounds, while Mellisa Jastillana added eight
Yeshiva returns to action on Sunday for a game against the College of Notre Dame of Maryland at 3 p.m. The game will be played at Baruch College.
