Box Score

BRONX, N.Y. - Senior Adam Volk (W. Orange, N.J.) went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer and three RBI Tuesday night, while classmate Elisha Rudolph (Lincolnwood, Ill.) added a 2-for-4, three-RBI outing of his own as the Yeshiva University baseball team scored a season-high nine runs in its City University of New York Athletic Conference contest at host Lehman College.

The Lightning took the contest by a 23-9 decision.

YU (1-9 CUNYAC) still controls its own destiny for a spot in the 2013 CUNYAC Championships (May 6, 7 and 10; MCU Park, in Brooklyn), as head coach Albert Baez's Maccabees would make program history if they were to sweep Friday's 10 a.m. CUNYAC twinbill from John Jay College (games to be played at Lehman).

Senior Yaniv Lautman (Cleveland, Ohio) scored a pair of runs in defeat, as did junior Jake Frankel (Tarzana, Calif.) -- both gentlemen were successful in their respective stolen-base opportunities on the night, as well.

Senior Yossi Ciment (Brookline, Mass.) added two RBI for the Macs, as 11 out of the team's 12 field players reached base safely.
