RIVERDALE, N.Y.— Playing in its first match in thirteen day, the Yeshiva men's volleyball team was defeated 3-0 (16-25, 16-25, 20-25) at the College of Mount Saint Vincent on Monday.
 
The Maccabees (0-2, 0-1 Skyline) were led by Menachem Goldstein with six kills, while Eliakim Gartenberg had five kills and three block assists. Joseph Lipton added eight digs and had three kills, while Adam Rhodes had 20 assists and four digs.
 
The College of Mount Saint Vincent (2-1, 1-0 Skyline) was led by Jacob Johnson with 11 kills and one service ace. Tyler Cucullu added eight kills and six service aces for the host Dolphins
 
The Maccabees are back in action on Sunday afternoon for a pair of matches in a Skyline Conference multi match. Yeshiva will play NYU-Poly at 10 a.m. and Ramapo College at 12 noon. The games will are being played at New Jersey City University.
