JERSEY CITY, N.J.— The Yeshiva men's volleyball team was defeated in a pair of matches at a Skyline Conference multi-match on Sunday as the Maccabees lost 3-0 to NYU-Poly (25-21, 26-24, 25-14) and 3-0 to Ramapo College (25-20, 25-7, 25-11). Yeshiva is now 0-4 (0-3 Skyline) this season.
In the match against NYU-Poly, the Maccabees were led by
Menachem Goldstein with six kills and three service aces. Teammate
Eliakim Gartenberg added five kills, while
Jared Rechnitz had five kills and 11 digs.
Joseph Lipton added nine digs in the contest.
Against Ramapo, Rechnitz had six kills and four digs, while Goldstein had four kills. Lipton added three kills and 14 digs, while
Jorge Dabah had 10 assists.
Yeshiva is back in action next Sunday for a match at Albertus Magnus College at 12 noon.
