NEW YORK, N.Y.— The Yeshiva University men's volleyball team was defeated in three straight to New Jersey City University (NJCU) 25-9, 25-17, 25-15 at the Max Stern Athletic Center on Thursday evening.
 
The loss now leaves the Maccabees at 1-6 (0-4 Skyline) this season, while NJCU moves to 4-8 (2-2 Skyline).
 
Yeshiva was led by Menachem Goldstein with eight kills and three blocks, while Eliakim Gartenberg had three kills and two blocks. Adam Rhodes added 10 assists and six digs for the Maccabees.
 
Daque Wilcox led NJCU with seven kills and five digs, while Sheldon Coure added six kills and five service aces.
 
Yeshiva returns to action on Sunday for a multi match at Purchase College. The Maccabees will square off against Kean University at 10 a.m. before Purchase College at noon.
