PURCHASE, N.Y.— The Yeshiva men's volleyball team was defeated in a pair of matches at a Skyline Conference multi-match on Sunday as the Maccabees were defeated by Kean University 3-1 (18-25, 25-19, 9-25, 7-25) and host Purchase College 3-0 (25-27, 17-25, 23-25).
 
In the match against Kean, Menachen Goldstein led the way for Yeshiva with six kills and four total blocks. Eliakim Gartenberg added five kills and three blocks for the Maccabees, while Jared Rechnitz had three kills, two service aces and two digs. Jorge Dabah had a team-high 13 digs, while Adam Rhodes had 15 assists.
 
Against Purchase, Rechnitz had 10 kills, three digs and two service aces, while Gartenberg had six kills. Rhodes had 22 assists.
 
Yeshiva is back in action on Tuesday for a home contest against NYU-Poly at 8 p.m.
