Box Score PALISADES, N.J.— The Yeshiva University baseball team was defeated by John Jay College 15-3 in a non conference game on Monday evening.

Zev Friend had one hit each in the contest. Friend and Paul added one run batted apiece for the Maccabees.
John Jay took a 2-0 lead after the top of the first inning. Yeshiva scored in the bottom of the second when Friend singled into rightfield to score Perl. John Jay though scored six times in the top of the third to break the game open. Yeshiva edged closer with a run in the bottom of the fourth to make the score 9-2. But the visiting Bloodhounds added another five in the top of the fifth to widen the gap.
John Jay was led by Nestor Amarante who was 3-for-4 with a double and four runs batted in, while Ronald Barillas went 3-for-5 with a triple and three runs scored.
