NEW YORK, N.Y.— The Yeshiva men's volleyball team was defeated in two matches on Sunday afternoon at a Skyline Conference multi-match at the Max Stern Athletic Center as the Maccabees lost to the College of Mount Saint Vincent 3-1 (25-23, 20-25, 23-25, 13-25) and New Jersey City University (NJCU)  3-0 (20-25, 15-25, 11-25).
 
In the match against the College of Mount Saint Vincent, Yeshiva was led by Jared Rechnitz with 13 kills and nine digs, while Eliakim Gartenberg added six kills, two service aces and four total blocks (two solo, two assists). Adam Rhodes added 21 assists, eight digs and two total blocks (one solo, one assist).
 
The College of Mount Saint Vincent was led by Tyler Cucullu with 19 kills and four service aces, while Jacob Johnson and Brett Holiday had 13 kills each. Johnson added four service aces, while Holiday had four block assists.
 
Against NJCU, Rechnitz led the Maccabees with six kills, while Gartenberg and Joseph Lipton had four kills. Mishael Miller added 11 digs and Jorge Dabah chipped in with nine.
 
NJCU was led by Bill Le with 12 kills.
