Box Score MAHWAH, N.J.— The Yeshiva men's volleyball team was defeated by Ramapo College 3-0 (14-25, 18-25, 10-25) in the Maccabees' 2014 Skyline Conference and regular season finale Tuesday evening.
Yeshiva's regular season ends with an 8-17 overall record as the Maccabees will now move forward to the Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (HVIAC) championship on Thursday.
In Tuesday's match,
Eliakim Gartenberg,
Jared Rechnitz and
Joseph Lipton had two kills each, while
Hirschy Zaks had six digs.
Adam Rhodes added nine assists.
Ramapo College was led by Nick Hrehovcik with eight kills and six digs.
Yeshiva, after finishing the regular season with a 6-0 record, is the top seed for the HVIAC Championship. The Maccabees will face No. 4 seed Sarah Lawrence College at 6 p.m. If Yeshiva wins, the Maccabees will play for the championship at 8 p.m. against the winner between Webb Institute and St. Joseph's-Brooklyn.
