Yeshiva University Department of Athletics invites all Maccabees' fans to come out to the Max Stern Athletic Center tonight as the men's basketball team, currently in first place in the Skyline Conference, takes on second place College of Mount Saint Vincent (CMSV) in a battle for first place.

Yeshiva (9-3, 6-1 Skyline) comes into tonight's game riding a six game win streak and are off to its best start in many years.

The Maccabees have been led by
Benjy Ritholtz who is averaging 18.7 points per game, which leads the team and is second in Skyline. He is 12 points shy of becoming just the twenty-seventh player in Yeshiva men's basketball history to eclipse 1,000 career points. He is shooting 47.6 percent from the floor (79-for-166), including 44.3 percent (31-for-70) from behind the three point line this season. Fellow teammate
Shelby Rosenberg is second on the team in scoring averaging 17.8 points per game, while averaging a team-high 8.3 rebounds per game, which is the third highest average in Skyline. He has recorded a team-high five double-doubles this season.
Michael Berg is third on the team in scoring, averaging 10.7 points per game, while shooting a Skyline Conference best 66.3 percent (59-for-89) from the field and is tied for the team lead in total steals with 18.
Jordan Hod is averaging a team-high 4.5 assists per game and shares the team co-high in steals.

As a unit, the Maccabees lead the Skyline Conference in field goal percentage, shooting .49.4 percent (347-for-702) and three point field goal percentage at 36.6 percent (70-for-191). And with 18.75 per game, Yeshiva also leads the conference in assists.

CMSV (9-5, 5-2 Skyline) is led by James Zuccaro who leads the conference in scoring with 18.8 points per game. The Dolphins are second in Skyline in scoring averaging 76.6 points per game as a team.

Yeshiva welcomes a pair of new players to the team.
Yisrael Feld, who was a member of the team last season and was named the Skyline Conference Rookie of the Year, rejoins the Maccabees, while Yeshiva welcome newcomer
Benjamin Oirech to the roster.
