Box Score NEW YORK, N.Y.— The Yeshiva University men's volleyball team defeated Webb Institute 3-0 (25-19, 25-12, 25-14) at the Max Stern Athletic Center in a Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (HVIAC) contest Tuesday evening.
The win by the Maccabees gives them their first winning streak of the season as Yeshiva has now won two in a row and improved to 4-10 overall and 1-1 in the HVIAC. The loss by Webb drops them to 0-1 overall and in the HVIAC as well.
Yeshiva was led by
Tuvia Marks with eight kills (one error) on 14 attacks for a .500 attack percentage. He also had three service aces and two blocks.
Kolya Miller added seven kills to go along with five digs and a block assist.
Eliakim Gartenberg added five kills and three digs, while
Jorge Dabah had 19 assists, five digs and two service aces.
Webb was led by Nolan Conway and Brian Mills with six kills each.
Yeshiva is back in action on Thursday for a home match against Pratt Institute at 8 p.m.
