NEW YORK, N.Y. - Sunday is the home opener as the Yeshiva University men's basketball team hosts New York University, at the Max Stern Athletic Center, beginning at 1:00 p.m.
In their last meeting back in December of 2015, the Maccabees fell to the host Violets, who were nationally ranked #12 at the time, 66-57. In that contest, Yeshiva had a seven-point lead with 11:48 remaining, but NYU rallied to earn the hard-fought win.
The Maccabees enter Sunday's contest, 1-3, while the Violets are undefeated at 3-0. Both teams have played all of their games on the road thus far. Last season, YU hosted and won its first home playoff game since 2002, while NYU made it to the second round of the NCAA tournament.
If you cannot make it to the game, Macs Live will have
live streaming video and you can also follow along with
live stats. Be sure to print out the
game program as well.
