NEW YORK, N.Y. – The Yeshiva University men's volleyball team dropped its home opener to Kean University in straight sets on Wednesday evening. Set scores were 25-9, 25-10, and 25-9.
 
Sophomore middle blocker Itai Guttman slammed home three kills and had four blocks, while classmate Michael Klein produced two kills. Freshman middle blocker Jonathan Korman added one kill of his own. On the defensive side, sophomore right-side hitter Mathew Rosenberg had a team-high four digs, while senior setter Jonathan Goldstein added three. Sophomore outside hitter Max Glaser chipped in with one dig and added three assists, while classmate Avraham Kohanzadeh scored one service ace.
 
Yeshiva will be back in action on Sunday for a Skyline Tri-Match at Sarah Lawrence College. The Maccabees will battle the Panthers of Purchase College at 1:00 p.m, and then take on the host Gryphons at 3:00 p.m.
