PURCHASE, N.Y. – The Yeshiva University softball team dropped both ends of its Skyline Conference doubleheader to Purchase College, at the Purchase Softball Field, on Friday afternoon. The Maccabees fell in the opening contest, 12-0, while dropping game two, 8-0.
 
Sophomore first baseman Michal Alge drilled two singles, one in each game, during the doubleheader. Junior pitcher Rachel Mirsky pitched two complete games.
 
The Maccabees will be back in action on Sunday, for another Skyline Conference doubleheader, at Sarah Lawrence College. First pitch is scheduled for 12:00 p.m.
