Box Score NEW YORK, N.Y. – The Yeshiva University men's volleyball team earned a Skyline Conference win over Sarah Lawrence College, in straight sets, on senior night at the Max Stern Athletic Center, on Wednesday evening. Set scores were 25-15, 25-16, and 25-19.
After falling behind, 11-10 in the opening set, the Maccabees (5-16, 4-10 Skyline) scored eight unanswered points, highlighted by two service aces from senior setter
Jorge Dabah, and three kills by sophomore right-side hitter
Mathew Rosenberg, to catapult Yeshiva to an 18-11 lead. Sophomore middle blocker

Michael Klein each added two kills during Yeshiva's rally. Later in the frame, with the Maccabees at set-point, senior outside hitter
Kolya Miller slammed home a kill to clinch the set and put Yeshiva up, 1-0, in the match.
In the second stanza, Klein's service ace gave Yeshiva a 13-7 advantage. Guttman produced back-to-back aces to extend the Maccabees' lead to 16-8. The combination of two service aces by Rosenberg, and two kills from Dabah, led to four unanswered points for Yeshiva, and a 20-9 lead. Later in the frame, Yeshiva had another set-point opportunity. Dabah took full advantage by slamming home a kill to put Sarah Lawrence (0-19, 0-14 Skyline) on the brink.
In the third set, the Gryphons scored five unanswered points to take an 18-16 lead. The Maccabees countered by scoring eight unanswered points, sparked by a kill from sophomore right-side hitter
Moshe Zippel, to put Yeshiva at set-point once again. Klein sealed the set by slamming home a kill, clinching the Maccabees' fifth win of the season.
For the contest, Klein led the attack with 11 kills, while Guttman, Miller, and Rosenberg each produced six. Dabah had 27 assists and three service aces, which were both match-highs. The three seniors anchored the defense with senior libero
Jonathan Goldstein producing a team-high nine digs, while Miller and Dabah helped neutralize the Gryphons' attack with eight digs apiece.

Earlier in the evening, Yeshiva University held a ceremony for the team's graduating seniors, Miller, Dabah, and Goldstein.
The Maccabees will conclude the regular season with a Skyline Conference Tri-Match, on the campus of Purchase College, on Sunday. Yeshiva will take on Purchase at 10:00 a.m., and then take on the College of Mount Saint Vincent at 12:00 p.m.
