Box Score 2 NEWARK, N.J. – The Yeshiva University softball team dropped both ends of its non-conference doubleheader to Rutgers-Newark, out in New Jersey, on Wednesday evening. The Maccabees lost game one, 20-1, while falling in the second game by a score of 8-0.

In the first game, sophomore first baseman
Michal Alge produced a triple and scored on an error in right field, during the top half of the second. Senior shortstop
Rebecca Kleiner added a double in the contest.

In game two, Alge, Kleiner, and senior third baseman
Erin Potasnick each drew a walk, while Kleiner had a stolen base.

Senior pitcher
Rachel Mirsky pitched two complete games. She now has 20 for the season.

The Maccabees will be back in action on Friday, for a Skyline Conference doubleheader against the College of Mount Saint Vincent, at Fordham University beginning at 12:45 p.m.
