Box Score 2 TROY, N.Y. – The Yeshiva University softball team dropped both ends of its Skyline Conference to the Sage Colleges, at Robinson Field, on Tuesday afternoon. The Maccabees lost game one, 15-2, while falling in the second contest, 23-3.

The Maccabees were no-hit in the opening game, but were able to score two runs in the top of the fifth. Sophomore utility player
Shoshana Rozenberg reached base on a fielder's choice, scoring classmate
Liat Wasserman. Senior third baseman
Erin Potasnick scored on a throwing error by the pitcher.

In game two, senior pitcher
Rachel Mirsky got Yeshiva on the board right away, by hitting a two-run homer to center, in the top of the first. Senior shortstop
Rebecca Kleiner, who singled to lead off the game, scored on Mirsky's round-tripper.

Yeshiva's momentum would not last, as Sage scored two runs in the bottom of the first, and 13 runs in the second, to take control of the contest. In the top of the third, Mirsky doubled down the left field line. She would come around to score on an RBI single by sophomore first baseman
Michal Alge for Yeshiva's third run.

For the contest, Wasserman added a single. Mirsky pitched two more complete games and now has 26 for the season.

The Maccabees will conclude the season on Thursday against York, at Fordham University, beginning at 7:00 p.m.Â
