NEW YORK, N.Y. - Monday is a very special game night as the Yeshiva University men's basketball team hosts Farmingdale State, in a critical Skyline Conference showdown at the Max Stern Athletic Center, beginning at 7:00 p.m.

Yeshiva (8-5, 4-1 Skyline) enters Monday's contest in second place in the Skyline Conference South Division, while Farmingdale (11-5, 7-0 Skyline) sits alone in first place and has yet to be defeated in conference play.
This is the first of two meetings between these two teams in the 2016-17 regular season. In 2015-16, the Maccabees won both head-to-head meetings over the Rams and have won the last four matchups over the last two seasons.
Leading the way for YU is sophomore guard
Judah Cohen. The Englewood resident has been inducted into the Skyline Conference Weekly Honor Roll five times this season, and leads the team with an average of 16.5 points per game, while forcing a team-high 23 total steals. Freshman guard
Simcha Halpert is scoring 12.4 points per contest. Senior forward
Michael Berg is averaging 10.6 points, with team-high game averages of 6.8 rebounds and 5.3 assists. The New York City resident also leads the team in total blocks for the season with ten. Senior forward
Dean Pienica is averaging 10.2 points, while classmate
Jordan Hod is dishing out 5.1 assists per game.
