Box Score 2 YAPHANK, N.Y. – The Yeshiva University baseball team dropped both ends of its Skyline Conference doubleheader to St. Joseph's College Brooklyn, at Baseball Heaven, on Tuesday afternoon. Yeshiva dropped the opening game, 13-1, and fell in the second game, 22-3.
In the first game, the Bears scored three runs in the second inning, as well as five runs in the fourth, and never looked back. Yeshiva's lone run came in the top of the sixth, when junior shortstop
Shmuli Goldis drove in a run on a groundout, scoring freshman outfielder
Joseph Goffstein.

Mordechai Cohen each produced a hit. Sophomore right fielder
Aryeh Salovey, senior pitcher

On the mound,
Rephael Rosenberg pitched 4.2 innings to take the loss.
In game two, the Bears (3-2, 2-0 Skyline) scored nine runs in the first inning to take a commanding lead that would not be surrendered. In the top of the third, Goldis produced an RBI single to score freshman third baseman
Jordan Shafron and put Yeshiva (0-5, 0-2 Skyline) on the board. With the bases loaded in the top of the seventh,
Chaim Nosson Rosenberg and Cohen each drew an RBI walk.
For the contest, Goldis went 2-for-4 with a run batted in and a run scored. Goldstein, junior left fielder
Eli Lipner, and sophomore right fielder
Josh Fogel also produced a hit, with the latter scoring a run. Shafron drew a walk and scored a run, while senior center fielder
Elan Paul and freshman second baseman
Mordy Kirsch each reached first via base on balls.
Salovey took the loss on the mound.
Yeshiva will be back in action on Friday, for a Skyline Conference double-header against Old Westbury at Ridgefield Park, beginning at 9:30 a.m.
