Box Score 2 BRONX, N.Y. – The Yeshiva University softball team was shutout by the Sage Colleges in both ends of the Skyline Conference double-header, held at Fordham University, on Sunday evening. Sage won the first contest, 17-0, while Yeshiva dropped game two by a score of 11-0.
In the opening game, Sage (4-10, 3-1 Skyline) scored eight runs in the opening inning and never looked back. For Yeshiva (2-6, 0-4 Skyline) senior shortstop
Hannah Dubin produced a single and a walk, while junior pitcher
Elisa Alweis added a hit of her own. Sophomore catcher

Liat Wasserman, and junior center fielder
Ellie Chase each worked a walk.
In the circle, Alweis pitched a complete game but took the loss.
In the second game, the Gators scored three runs in the first inning and four runs in the second to blow the game open. In the lineup for Yeshiva, Wasserman and Chase produced a single, while Dubin and Hiller each drew a walk. Otherwise, Sage's pitching shut down the Maccabees' lineup for the second straight game.

The Maccabees will return to Fordham University on Tuesday, for a Skyline Conference double-header against St. Joseph's College Long Island, beginning at 6:00 p.m.
