Box Score BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – The Yeshiva University men's volleyball team earned a non-conference victory over Sarah Lawrence College, in straight sets, at the Campbell Sports Center on Tuesday evening. Set scores were 25-21, 25-9, and 25-15.
In the opening set, with the score 16-15 in favor of Yeshiva (2-6), the Macs went on a 4-0 run that was capped off by a kill from senior setter
Michael Klein, extending the Maccabees' lead to 20-15. After Sarah Lawrence (0-9) rallied to tie the set at 21, Yeshiva regained the advantage. Sophomore middle blocker
Samuel Marcus scored three consecutive kills to clinch the game for the Blue and White, 25-21.
The Maccabees cruised to a 25-9 win in the second set. Yeshiva scored the last six points of the stanza, with four of those points courtesy of kills by freshman outside hitter

Sander Eizen also had a kill during YU's closing run in the second set.
In the third game, YU stormed past the Gryphons, 25-15. After falling behind 1-0, the Macs scored six unanswered points and never looked back. Klein's kill clinched the set and Yeshiva's second match win of the season.
For the evening, Greenberg led all players with 12 kills and nine digs. Junior outside hitter
Mathew Rosenberg had 11 kills, with a .714 hitting percentage for the match, while adding eight digs, two assists, and a block. Marcus had five kills, scored three service aces, and had just as many blocks. Junior middle blocker
Itai Guttman had six kills and two blocks, while sophomore outside hitter
Chaim Aryeh Rubin helped anchor the defense with three digs. Klein had a game-high 23 assists, and Eizen added five assists of his own.
Yeshiva will open the Skyline Conference portion of its schedule next Wednesday, as Yeshiva plays New Jersey City University on the road. Match time is scheduled for 8:00 p.m.
