NEW YORK, N.Y. – This week's Yeshiva University Student-Athletes of the Week are sophomore Joshua Polster of the men's fencing team, and junior forward Tehilla Teigman of the women's basketball team.

Polster earned 14 epee victories, with 11 of those wins counting towards the NCAA, at the Vassar Invitational on Sunday. The Skokie native went 3-0 against Hunter and won all three bouts over West Point. Polster also went a perfect 3-for-3 against Drew and took two out of three battles in each team duel against Vassar and Haverford.

Teigman led the Maccabees to a season-opening victory over Five Towns College on Thursday, by scoring a game-best 19 points (9-14 from the field) and clutching eight boards, while dishing out two assists and forcing a pair of steals. Against Baruch on Monday, the Houston native produced a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds. Thanks to her strong effort, Teigman was named the Skyline Conference Rookie of the Week.
