BRONX, N.Y. – The Yeshiva University men's volleyball team dropped a non-conference contest to Lehman College, in straight sets, at the APEX Main Gym on Thursday evening. Set scores were 11-25, 5-25, and 12-25.

Sophomore middle blocker Joshua Rosenberg led the way for the Maccabees (1-4) with a team-high three kills with just as many digs. Sophomore middle blocker Yosef Ajami led the team with six digs, while picking up a block assist. Junior outside hitter Amitai Miller had three digs to go along with one kill, and one assist, while classmate Chaim Aryeh Rubin slammed home a kill, produced a dig, and scored a service ace. Freshman opposite hitter Isaac Pomerance had a team-high five assists, to go along with four digs, and one kill. Sophomore setter Derek Orenshein had four digs, with one kill, and one block assist.

Yeshiva will return to the friendly confines of the Max Stern Athletic Center on Sunday, for a non-conference matchup against York College (N.Y.). First serve is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
