NEW YORK – This week's Yeshiva University Student-Athletes of the Week are freshman guard Yuval Nitzan (women's basketball) and senior forward Gabriel Leifer (men's basketball).

This is the second time Nitzan has earned Student-Athlete of the Week accolades in her young career. The rookie phenom scored a game-high 16 points, and added two steals, in Yeshiva's Skyline game against the College at Old Westbury, last Tuesday.

That same night, Leifer led the Maccabees to a come-from-behind Skyline Conference victory over Old Westbury by producing a double-double with 20 points and 11 rebounds, while dishing out a pair of assists and blocking just as many shots.
