NEW YORK, N.Y. – This week's Yeshiva University Student-Athletes of the Week are senior pitcher Samantha Cohen of the softball team, and senior outside hitter Chaim Aryeh Rubin of the men's volleyball team.

Cohen pitched three complete-games this past weekend. She struck out three batters in game two against Purchase College, and then fanned three more batters in the opening game against Sarah Lawrence College. In game one against the Gryphons, Cohen reached base with a single.

Rubin helped Yeshiva clinch the No. 4 seed in the upcoming Skyline Conference Championships. The Skokie resident slammed home 10 kills, registered five digs, and added three service aces against Purchase College. Later that day, Rubin just missed a double-double with 13 kills and nine digs, while scoring three aces, against Mount Saint Vincent.
