NEW YORK, N.Y. – The Yeshiva University men's volleyball team will compete in the semifinal round of the Skyline Conference Championships, for the second year in a row, on Thursday evening. The No. 4 Maccabees will battle the No. 1 Golden Eagles of St. Joseph's College Long Island, at the Danzi Center, with first serve slated for 7:00 p.m.

The winner of the match will take on the winner of Thursday's other semifinal battle between No. 3 St. Joseph's College Brooklyn and No. 2 Purchase College, in the championship match, this weekend.
St. Joseph's (23-6, 10-0 Skyline) went undefeated in the conference and won every set in the process. The defending Skyline Conference Champions have not lost a league match since their first year as a program in 2017.
These two teams met in last season's Skyline semifinal match. The Golden Eagles won the playoff contest in straight sets.
Leading the way for the Maccabees (8-11, 4-6 Skyline) this season has been senior outside hitter
Chaim Aryeh Rubin, who is averaging 2.06 kills and 2.43 digs per set this season. Sophomore setter
Isaac Pomerance has been setting his teammates up for success with 5.94 assists per game. Graduate libero
Sibi Selvarajah is third in the Skyline with 2.49 digs per set, while second-year opposite hitter
Derek Orenshein leads the Maccabees with 29 blocks this season.
For the Golden Eagles, junior outside hitter Paul Curaro leads the league with 3.11 kills per set, while senior setter Tyler Jones leads all Skyline players with 9.72 assists per stanza.
