Watson
has been a fixture in the Yeshiva University Athletics Department for over thirty years. The proud army veteran came to YU in 1986. He was the head coach of the men's cross country team for 25 years (1986-2011) and was an architect of the women's cross country program, serving as the team's first head coach from 2007-2011.
During his illustrious career at Yeshiva University, Watson had stints as the head coach of the men's golf team and the assistant coach of the men's soccer team. In his final role at YU, he served as the Director of Intramurals, a job he has held since 1990.
