NEWBURGH, N.Y. - Competing in their first match of the 2023-24 season, the Yeshiva golf team fell to Mount Saint Mary College by a score of 319-336 on Wednesday, Sept. 6.

Leading the way for the Maccabees,
Judah Rolnick and
Jake Rothenberg each had excellent outings, with both players tallying a team-low score of 81 on the afternoon.

Also performing splendidly for the Yeshiva,
Shlomo Gerstley slotted in at third on the Macs' depth chart, notching an 86 on the day. Also competing for Yeshiva,
David Daman scored an 88, while
Joshua Goldman put up a 95.

However, despite solid scores across the board, the Macs could not overtake their Mount Saint Mary opponents, ultimately dropping the match by just 17 puts at 319-336.

UP NEXT
Competing in their first and only home tournament of the season, the Macs will host the Yeshiva University Invitational on Sunday, Sept. 10 starting at 9:30 a.m.
