LAGRANGEVILLE, NY - Competing in their first Skyline event of the spring schedule, the Yeshiva Golf Team competed in the Manhattanville Spring Invitational, finishing third on Thursday, Apr. 16th.
The Maccabees competed against three other schools, teeing off alongside Mount Saint Mary College, The College at Old Westbury, and Manhattanville University.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- As a team, the Maccabees placed third of four, finishing with a 338 (+50) and beating out the host school Manhattanville.
- On an individual level, the Macs were led by Akiva Schanzer, as the sophomore placed second with a score of 80 (+8).
- Also finishing in the top 10, Pinny Ehrenfeld slotted in at 6th with a score of 83 (+11), and Gavi Steinlauf tied for 10th with a score of 85 (+13).
- Rounding out the field for YU, Moshe Keiser tied for 16th, while Yoni Kwestel and Isaac Berry both tied for 19th.
