OLD WESTBURY, NY - Taking the links for the final time this season, the Yeshiva Golf Team competed in the Old Westbury Invitational, placing fifth on Friday, Apr. 24th.
The Maccabees teed off against five other schools, facing down: Albertus Magnus College, St. Joseph's University Long Island, Mount Saint Mary College, The College at Old Westbury, and Manhattanville University.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- As a team, YU placed fifth of six teams, finishing with a score of 326 (+46), finishing ahead of Manhattanville.
- On an individual level, the Maccabees were led by Pinny Ehrenfeld, with the first-year player finishing third at 75 (+5).
- Gavi Steinlauf also finished in the top 10, tying for seventh at 79 (+9).
- Rounding out the field for the Macs, Israel Bromberg tied for 19th at 83 (+13), James Goldschmiedt tied for 27th at 89 (+19), and Isaac Berry finished 30th at 93 (+23).
