FARMINGDALE, NY - Wrapping up their fall regular season slate, the Yeshiva Golf Team placed third of eight squads at Farmingdale's FSC Skyline Invitational on Friday, Oct. 17th.
The Maccabees competed against seven conference foes, teeing off with: Farmingdale State College, St. Joseph's University Long Island, Mount Saint Mary College, The College at Old Westbury, Manhattanville University, Purchase College and the University of Mount Saint Vincent.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- As a team the Macs finished third overall with a score of 319 (+31). That result put them ahead of Mount Saint Mary, Old Westbury, Manhattanville, Purchase and UMSV.
- On an individual level, the Macs saw a standout performance from Pinny Ehrenfeld, as the Maryland native tied for second overall with a score of 74 (+2).
- Also finishing in the top 10, Israel Bromberg tied for ninth with a score of 78 (+6).
- Rounding out the field for YU, Gavi Steinlauf tied for 13th with an 81 (+9), Noah Friedman tied for 27th with an 86 (+14), and Moshe Keiser tied for 33rd with an 89 (+17).
