FARMINGDALE, NY - Competing in the pinnacle event of the season, the Yeshiva Golf Team took part in the Skyline Conference Championship from Sunday, Oct. 19th - Monday, Oct. 20th.
Â
The Maccabees saw action against seven other Skyline squads, teeing off against: Farmingdale, St. Joseph's University Long Island, Mount Saint Mary College, The College at Old Westbury, Manhattanville University, Purchase College and the University of Mount Saint Vincent.
Â
After 18 holes of competition, Yeshiva placed sixth overall, an effort helmed by
Pinny Ehrenfeld. The Maryland native finished amongst the Skyline's best, placing fourth and securing a spot on the All-Conference First Team.
Â
HOW IT HAPPENED
- As a team, the Macs finished the two day tournament with a score of 678, 102 strokes above par. This result was good enough for sixth place, beating out both Purchase and UMSV in the process.
