Stephanie Greenberg Picks Up Team-Best 19 Points vs. Polytechnic-NYU

HOLLISWOOD, N.Y. - Sophomore guard Stephanie Greenberg (Cedarhurst, N.Y.) netted a team-best 19 points and swiped six steals Wednesday night at Yeshiva University High School for Girls, but the Yeshiva University women's basketball team fell in non-conference action to the Polytechnic Institute of New York University by an 89-50 count.

Junior forward and reigning Hudson Valley Women's Athletic Conference Player of the Week, Rebecca Yoshor (Houston, Texas) continued her double-double string with 17 points and a game-best 13 caroms. Yoshor, who ranks No. 3 and 4 in the NCAA Division III statistical leaders in rebounds per game and double-doubles, respectively, has now notched 21 double-doubles in 25 career contests in a Maccabees uniform.

Junior Haley David (New York, N.Y.) and senior Naomi Gofine (Toronto, Ont.) pulled down 11 rebounds apiece, helping first-year head coach Nesta Felix's YU side to a 55-49 advantage on the glass.

Yeshiva is back in non-conference action Sunday afternoon (Dec. 9), when it returns to Holliswood to play host to College of Mount Saint Vincent in a 1 p.m. matinee.
