Golf Team Knocks Off Valley Forge In Spring Opener

BRONX, N.Y. - This past Tuesday, the Yeshiva University men's golf team defeated The University of Valley Forge in a head-to-head match-up at the Pelham Bay Golf Course amid cold and blustery conditions. The Macs were extremely well represented by senior team captain, Max Shulman, and newcomer, Dan Schub.

Shulman carded a +11 over-par 82, to lead all scorers! Dan's +15 over-par 86 featured a spectacular "hole-out" wedge shot from 105 yards, on Pelham Bay's #4 hole. Sophomore Jacob Saks scored a 96, freshman Avram Glaser posted a 121, while sophomore Yaakov Poleyeff finished with a 127.

The Maccabees will be back in action on Sunday, for a battle against New Jersey City University, at the Pelham Bay Golf Course beginning at 10:44 a.m.
