IMMACULATA, Pa. – The Yeshiva University men's cross country team earned bronze at the Immaculata University Invitational, on Thursday afternoon. Yeshiva's team average in the 4k race was 15:36.2.
Leading the way for the Maccabees was senior
Yonatan Schreiber, who finished sixth overall, with a time of 14:59. The next four YU runners finished within 10 seconds of each other. Junior
Jonathan Greenberg was the 15
th runner to cross the finish line at the 15:42 mark. Senior
Yosef Pfeffer completed the run just one second later (16
th overall), and was followed by sophomore
Zachary Greenberg (17
th place at 15:45) and sophomore
Joshua Hamburger (18
th overall at 15:52).
Rounding out the Yeshiva runners were senior
Noah Hazan, who finished 24
th overall at 16:36, and junior
Daniel Elfenbein (32
nd place at 17:15).
The Maccabees will compete in the Skyline Conference championships, at the Hudson Valley Sportsdome, on Thursday. The 8k race is scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m.
